We finished recording the new EP Quick Fixes For Easy Needs last week at Studio Studio in Rochdale. It’ll be available to buy on CD via the website or digitally on iTunes in about a week - watch this space.

We’ve put unmastered versions of ‘Second Guessing’ and ‘Probably Right’ up on our MySpace player.

We’ve been confirmed for an Academy Unsigned gig at Manchester Academy 3 this Friday.  The other bands are Neo Tokyo Is About To Explode!, The Air Of Chaos and The (apparently MySpace-less) Portrait Of Ruin.  We checked out MySpaces and they sound very cool.  If you fancy it, doors are 7.30pm and tickets are a fiver - give us a shout if you want one (or two).

We just played an acoustic version of ‘Second Guessing’ on Wythenshawe FM.  Thanks to Shell and the team there for having us!  In other news, here’s a video of Rick throwing a Mars bar into his own face:

If all goes to plan, we’ll be on Wythenshawe FM (97.2 or on-line at wfmradio.org) this Friday 8th August around 7.30pm - might be doing a couple of acoustic songs as well.

We’ll be playing at Barracuda Bar in Macclesfield on Friday 22nd August, as part of the Silk FM Battle of the Bands competition.

Spent a great week in the studio and we’ve got 6 new songs nearly done - heading back in a couple of weeks to finish mixing and then it’ll all be ready.  In the mean time we’ve added an unmastered mix of new song ‘Second Guessing’ to our MySpace player - check it out!

Awesome first day at the studio!  We managed to get all the drums and bass done and made a start on guitars… still a long way to go but it’s sounding great so far.

We’re heading off to the studio tomorrow to start recording our sixth CD.  Watch this space for updates!

Great gig in last night in Oldham, with Peterloo Massacre who not only sounded great but were really nice peeps as well.  We also made Delayed Promise history by playing new song ‘Second Guessing’ to someone who was in the toilets at the time, resulting in “the most epic piss I’ve ever had” - which is exactly the effect we were going for.

Next gig (and the last before we visit studio-land) is back in sunny Manchester on Friday 18th July at Jabez Clegg - expect more new tunes, hopefully see you there!

We’re playing at Satans Hollow, Manchester on 16th October, supporting The Shuffle - great venue, should be a good ‘un!

Still prepping for studio land at the end of this month, think this will be our best CD yet.  We’re gonna hopefully film the studio fun and do a ‘Making Of…’ thing.  Also getting new T-Shirts printed up soon.
